===================================
Hi Everyone,
We are off to a great start for 2012. Byron Sands speaking and demonstrating with a model on glamour and boudoir was a hit. Everyone enjoyed having an opportunity to take their own photos of the model.
In February our meeting is being pushed ahead to the 28th. I am really looking forward to our speaker, Glen Gray. He is so knowledgeable, we have heard him speak many times and always learn from him.
March will be our state convention, Photo North East. It should be a block buster. Greg will be ending his year as president of PPSNYS, so we will be partying, making our rounds around the different speakers and vendors. There is still time to sign up; it is in a beautiful location and only about 3 hours from the Binghamton area. We always have a great time and we would love to have you join us.
We are looking for aspiring photographers. To me that means a photographer who wants to learn more (that's all of us). The great thing about this organization is the many ways education is offered and the photographers offering to mentor…what a combination. It is great to be able to call someone up who has the experience to get an answer. How can we get this message out? Invite others to our meetings, share what you see and have learned, become involved, you won't be disappointed.
Thank you,
Sharon Lewis, President STPPNY
